Sociology Optional Test Series for UPSC

We understand every aspirant’s journey is different. That’s why we offer two well-defined options:

Sociology Optional Online Test Series

Questions papers for Civil Services Examination by generally set and evaluated by senior professors of the respective discipline. At Dialectics IAS, civil services aspirants with Sociology optional get a chance to interact directly with senior professors for effective feedback.

We believe in encouraging original thinking among candidates and, therefore, we don’t believe in providing standard model answers to each and every question. At an examination of UPSC level, such standard model answers may do more harm than good to the candidates. However, each question is discussed in detail and special emphasis is laid on the Line of Argument in the answer.

UPSC looks for originality, spontaneity and creativity. Our test series is aimed just for that. However, to guide candidates, some model answers would be shared from time to time. We also wouldn’t be uploading the answer-scripts of toppers for the same reason. We aim to highlight and encourage individual differences among candidates, not level them.

Important:

We don’t outsource evaluation of answer scripts of candidates. At Dialectics IAS, evaluation is done by professors only. Admission, however, is subject to the availability of slot with the respective professor.

Our Online Test Series is Personalized and Flexible as per the assessment of the candidate after the counselling. We are dedicated for qualitative One-To-One Mentorship. Due to very limited seats, we invite only serious, very serious civil services aspirants.

Total Tests: 10 (4 Sectional Tests for each paper; 1 Complete Syllabus Test for each paper; Each Test of 250 Marks; Duration: 3 hours)

Total Seats: 20

Fee: Rs. 20,000

Discount: 20% discount for candidates belonging to socially and economically weaker sections of society

Our Evaluation Philosophy – Guided Independence

UPSC Sociology rewards clarity, structure, depth, and originality, not memorised notes. At Dialectics IAS, evaluation is designed to help you build guided independence — the ability to think sociologically and express ideas clearly.

  • We do not provide standard model answers for every question.
  • Instead, professors point out conceptual gaps and logical improvements during discussion.
  • You may be asked to rewrite selected answers in the Premium plan to refine expression.
  • Feedback sessions focus on improving analysis, argumentation, and structure — not spoon-feeding content.

This professor-led process helps you internalize what UPSC truly expects.

What Makes Dialectics IAS Sociology Optional Test Series Different

UPSC Sociology demands more than notes or standard answers — it demands thinking. Our test series is built on this idea. Instead of model answers, you receive personal academic guidance to build your own writing style. Here’s what sets us apart: each student receives an experience similar to one-to-one mentorship, rather than a mass test series.

  • Evaluation by Professors Only – No outsourced checking, no copy-paste feedback.
  • Live Feedback Discussions – Every test is followed by an online discussion, not written remarks.
  • Personalised Schedule – You decide your test timeline during counselling.
  • Focus on Originality – Model answers are shared only as references, not templates.
  • Limited Seats (20 Only) – To ensure quality interaction and genuine attention.
